He Is Alive

The greatest hope mankind can have

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead…

Matthew 28 : 6-7

Every small thing that God does has a significant meaning behind it and this blog website is no less. I was inspired by God to start a blog and the very same night, a friend from Canada messaged me telling me that she felt God wants me to start a blog. My husband and I prayed and asked the Lord what His will is and he revealed that through the blog he wants me to speak and to teach His children His word (Rhema). He wants to lift up the weary. And within no time, God revealed that this blog will declare the greatest news of hope through me (Just as a woman named Mary Magdalene declared it to the disciples) – HE IS ALIVE!

HE is alive

This is all about the ONE who was, and is and is to come. The one through whom heaven and earth, and everything in it was made. Through him, you and I were created. The one about whom over 300 prophesies were spoken even before he was born on earth. He is judge over all the earth. Yet, a judge who sacrificed his own life for the accused before bringing judgement upon them. The one who went through rejection, pain, agony, betrayal, hurt, loneliness. He empathises with us in our weaknesses. He understands our struggle. That is why he laid down his own life – to pay the ultimate price for the sins of all mankind. He took our place on the cross for our past, present and future sins over two thousand years ago. His light shone over all darkness and the darkness could not overcome it. This ONE is JESUS, our saviour and our redeemer.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.John 1 : 1 – 5

He IS alive

Before Jesus left the earth and ascended to heaven, He told his disciples in Matthew 28:20, “…and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Jesus is here today. He is with us. He is with you. In John 14:18, Jesus promises us that He will not leave us as orphans but He will come to us. He has given us the promised Holy Spirit as our comforter, counsellor, guide who leads us into all truth. The Holy Spirit dwells in all who believe in Jesus, and He constantly leads and guides us. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, we know God’s will and purpose for our lives, His commands and His desires. The Holy Spirit reveals the heart of God to us. The Holy Spirit does not speak anything to us without the will of Jesus Christ. Today, you and I can have fellowship with Jesus Christ. He is always in our boat, and He will not leave unless we ask Him to. His light always shines and anyone who looks to him will overcome darkness. Those who seek Him will find him. Those who call out to Him will hear him. He was in your past, He is going to be there in your future, but most importantly, He is here in your present.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete. 1 John 1 : 1 – 4

He is ALIVE

Jesus left his throne in heaven. Being fully God became fully man as he entered earth. He faced every temptation and trial as his fellow men, yet made no mistake, had no err. Even so, He humbly went to the cross to die for the sins of all mankind.

But…That is where redemption began – on the third day; when he rose again from the dead overcoming sin and death. Alive! He came alive again to give life to us. He is alive and will forever be. And, He wants each of us to be alive forevermore. This blessed assurance that Jesus is alive is the greatest message of hope for all mankind. Jesus’ resurrection gives us power to overcome sin and darkness. Because Jesus is alive, we have the gift of everlasting life. Yes, this life will end. Yet for those of us who receive this gift and believe in Jesus, we will live forever with God in heaven. Because He lives, we can live today knowing that no anxiety, addiction, depression, loss, or any darkness can affect us because Jesus overcame every one of them. If He only died for our sins and didn’t rise again, our hope will be no hope at all. But because He rose again, we have an everlasting hope.

I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. Job 19 : 25
